Due to the hygienic nature of our product and for your protection, all sales are final. Exchanges will be made on defective items only, within 3 months of purchase, with original receipt. Thank you for understanding.
How does the exchange policy work?
For online and in-store purchases, we are happy to do exchanges on defective items within 3 months of purchase.
For online purchases only, we’ll exchange pieces that weren’t what you expected – we know shopping by photos is a bit different than seeing it in person. Whether it’s a belly ring with a dangle that’s a bit shorter than you thought it would be, a labret with a stone that’s not the shade of blue you hoped, or something like that, we’ll swap it out as long as it’s in the original package with the heat seal unbroken. This is important – if you’ve opened the package, we can’t exchange it.
We’ll exchange it for the same piece if it’s still in stock – otherwise we will substitute it for a piece of your choice of equal value. Please send a photo of your jewellery with your name and order number to [email protected] to find out if you qualify. All exchanges must be requested within 30 days of your order shipping. Your email will be responded to within 24 – 48 hours of it being sent.
Please note that while we are happy to exchange anything with a manufacture defect, we will not exchange jewellery that was purchased at the wrong size, colour, etc. Examples of this include guessing the wrong size plugs for a friend, ordering a blue opal and then deciding pink is cuter, and so on.

How do I exchange my order?
Please contact [email protected] for instructions on how and where to ship. Once the exchange has been authorized, our Crew will send a premade shipping label you can print off.
Please note: We are unable to send the new product out before receiving the original jewellery. We are not responsible for any shipments lost in the mail, whether being sent by us or to us.
How long does an exchange take?
Depending on the distance the product has to travel, exchanges can take up to three weeks within North America.
Why can’t I open the seal?
It’s crucial to BodyMods that we only offer our customers the best. Due to the hygienic nature of the product, we can’t take back any jewellery that may have been worn. The heat seal is how we can guarantee the utmost safety and hygiene for our customers and Crew.
